In the past five years I have explored many places around Denver and the western United States as part of this project

however the clouds to the east prevented the moonrise from being visible at my location

leaving me better prepared as I head back to the area this spring

Prior to leaving the lake I checked out some other areas and found some tall grasses backlit blowing in the wind

November can be challenging and is a month of weather transition in the city

Walking to the Colorado State Capitol Presentation:Print Only In the past five yearsThe Colorado State Capitol gives an open approach from Civic Center Park as well as Lincoln Park. Using a low perspective the patterned stones adds to the layout of the area around the capitol. While it looks like it is a direct line to the capitol, it is best advised to not cross here but at the corner. These approach also give a nice perspective of the building itself.
